We would rather be corrected than be wrong. If something on this site is inaccurate, out of date or misleading, please tell us at info@gomaldives.net.
How we handle a correction
When we are told about a possible error we check it against the best available source. If it is wrong, we fix it. Substantive corrections, meaning anything that changes the meaning or would change a reader’s decision, are noted on the page along with the date. Minor fixes such as spelling or a broken link are made without a note.
Establishments
If you run a resort, guesthouse or activity that we have described inaccurately, tell us and we will correct it. We correct facts: location, facilities, ownership, status and anything else that can be verified. We do not remove or soften an honest assessment because its subject dislikes it.
Time-sensitive information
Entry rules, taxes, transfer options, ferry timetables and island regulations change between updates. We date this kind of material where we can, so readers can judge how current it is, and we welcome being told when something has changed.
What a correction is not
A correction request is not a way to buy or change coverage. Commercial relationships do not decide what we publish; see our Editorial Policy and Affiliate Disclosure.
