Independence
Our editorial decisions are made independently of any commercial relationship. Commercial partners do not choose which places we cover or what we say about them.
Sources and verification
We build guides from official and authoritative sources, including Maldives government and tourism-authority publications, official travel advice, transport operators and primary destination sources, and we cite official sources where facts may change.
What we never invent
We do not publish invented prices, availability, ratings, review scores, distances, transfer times, awards or first-hand stays. If a fact cannot be verified, we leave it out.
Volatile information
Entry requirements, taxes and fees, ferry and domestic-flight schedules, seaplane operations and local regulations change. Where these matter, we say when information was checked and point to the official source.
Images
Editorial destination photographs are credited to their authors and used under their licences. A photograph of a destination is never presented as a photograph of a specific resort or guesthouse.
